What to Expect On Your First Chiropractic Visit
Your very first visit to our clinic will be a discovery process to determine the source of your health issues and concerns.
When you enter the office, you will be greeted by Sue and give her your completed health history forms. Next you will meet with one of our exam specialists and Dr. Benda.
Note: Please arrive at the clinic with your completed new client form or arrive 15 mins early to complete your form at the office.
Next Dr. Benda will give you a thorough spinal examination. This will determine any abnormal alignment and motion patterns you have and how these could be negatively affecting your central and peripheral nervous systems and subsequent organ function.
If any further imaging studies are necessary, they will be performed at this time using our x-ray facility in the clinic.
After your examination, if Doctor Benda determines she can help you, she will arrange for your next visit, which is the Doctors Report. If not, she may refer you to another specialist to assist you.
Your Second Visit
At the Doctors Report, you will learn what a healthy spine is, how it relates to your optimal health and how an unhealthy spine negatively impacts your health.
You’ll also learn about the spinal reconstructive chiropractic care that Dr. Benda does, the clinical evidence supporting it, and what your common clinical objectives will be. This education plays an important role in how her clients obtain the amazing results they do in regaining their health.
This takes place in a small group setting with other new clients, after which Dr. Benda will privately review your examination finding and any x-rays results (if taken) with you one-to-one. She will give you her best recommendations and then you can decide how you would like to proceed to improve your health.
For such big health results, your specific chiropractic adjustment only takes a few minutes once you begin your care. Generally plan 15 minutes for your chiropractic visit. You’ll appreciate your quick in and out times making it convenient to fit in with your already busy schedule.
Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and we can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.
We recognize your time is valuable. We do everything possible to run on time so you can get on with your busy life.
